There is excellent hill walking in the district including the Foinaven range. The highest peak is Ganu Mor, which although not quite a Munro at 2998 ft. provides excellent views of the dramatic Atlantic coastline. The easiest access to hill is from a small layby some 1 mile south of Gualin House. From here, the walk to the top of Foinaven takes approximately 3-4 hours.
